We worked with Sue at the Hilton Garden Inn in Staten Island. From the first time we met her, Sue made me, my (now) husband, and my parents feel so at ease. Leading up to the big day, Sue was attentive and pretty much always available through email, even on her days off. We had a ton of questions in the 2-3 weeks prior, and she never left any of those questions unanswered. She even work with my husband to surprise me with a late-night sliders and fries station at the end of our reception. No wedding will go off without a glitch. Our biggest issue was the torrential downpour that afternoon, which prevented us from getting our desired outdoor pictures. Sue went above and beyond to make sure we got every other possible shot we asked for. I and some of my family have a gluten allergy. Sue worked with the chef and our bridal attendant to ensure that I was able to eat as much food as I wanted and not ‘get glutened’. From the room blocks down to the brunch the day after, my husband and I and our families could not be happier with Nicotra’s Ballroom and the Hilton Garden Inn. Every guest we’ve spoken to since has raved about everything: the food, the cocktail hour, the ballroom itself. Sue, Lacqua, Tina, and the Nicotra’s gave us the wedding of our dreams! We can’t wait to have another party there!
